Default 5.3 in my 2000

I bought a 1999 5.3 and auto trans for a Tahoe about a year and a half ago. It came with ss headers Speartech stand alone harnes a programmed computer. and a bunch of other stuff for 1500.00.
I was going to put it in my 95 s10, but I sold it. Now I am thinking about putting it into my 2000. Is there a better wiring harness than the one I have.
I have read about people using Current Performances harness. Is this the way to go? Is it really a plug and play harness?
Do I use the 5.3 programmed computer or the 4.3 computer and have it reprogrammed?
If I switch over to an Ls1 Intake can I use the fuel rail for the 5.3?
Thanks for the help

You need a harness for your truck, 2000-2002 then you can use your computer and have it flashed for a 5.3 but if you can get the computer then just use that
Also make sure its drive by cable and not drive by wire
If its drive by wire you will need to get a drive by cable intake manifold

Jump on s10forum.com and look around at the LSX swaps and all your questions will be answered. It is were I have spent most of my time while doing my swap.
