^exactly. carburetors can be great if dialed in properly. the only issue i ever have with them is carb icing in the 30-40 degree range which is half the winter around here but that's just a nuisance. it seems like most people who hate carburetors haven't used a good one that was setup right. still though, switching over a late model stock or mostly stock motor that's already running and driving fine doesn't make much sense. i wouldn't hesitate to make the switch on an older TBI motor though.

lot cheaper to set up but i love using my laptop to tune instead of ******* with jets etc
