Default Lt-1?

ive heard of 302 and 351w conversions in rangers, and as blasphemous as this sounds to all the ford fanboys, is it possible, to do an Lt-1 swap?

would a new tranny be necessary bc i was looking at a new t-56 anyways?
i would like to think some fab-work would be neccesary, motor mounts, wiring harness, bell housing ect.

anyone done this? or seen a ranger sporting an lt-1?

Use the search function here.
Spin done (hundreds of genI and genII SBC/Rangers swaps out there) and yeah, you'll have to fab stuff, but it isn't very high on the difficulty scale. There are two guys doin' 5.3 swaps too.
Using Ford stuff is easier, if you want easier.
I've been thinkin' about doin' a LSx swap in a Ranger, but I have too many projects and not enough money as it is.
