They'll prolly be a little more expensive, I'm going to build the brackets that bolt into the frame a little different to handle the extra weight of the transfer case.

Same here. Are the 99-02s all bolt from the bottom and not inside the frame like the 03+ and the 2000+ tahoe/yukon?

I wonder how much weight this would save over my modified stock piece?

My stock one modified was close to 30lbs. The tubular ones I build are around 6-8lbs.

Sounds substantial plus there is the increase in clearance. Once I get everything buttoned up I will pick one up from you. Have to build the bankroll back up unless you want to trade for a set of solid engine mounts.

I just hate being able to see the crossmember from the side. Factory one looks kind of half *** :/

Here's what's coming soon! I'll have 4l80e and 4l60e driveshaft safety loops.

I am in the middle of a tranny swap over myself. Did you ever finish the crossmember of the 03-06 4wd's? If needed I can send you a stock crossmember out of my truck before I modify it?
If you already have them I'm down for one. I just read through the whole thread and I see you said you were starting on them.
