Default time-wasting buyer: chevytruck

Couple weeks ago I had some misc. engine parts listed fs. He said he wanted the valve covers I had. I also mentioned in the ad that I could powdercoat them for extra if the buyer wants.

Me and chevytruck go back and forth via pm's, several daily for a good 3-4 days with him asking me questions about the powdercoating process and so forth. It was one thing after another he would ask, he refused to view the link I sent him with pictures of colors and example jobs so I had to send him pictures one by one. This went on days after he agreed to buy the VC's I had and pay a little extra to get them coated. I began to get mildly annoyed at some point, but I wanted to earn his business so I obliged anyway, because I could have used a spare few dollars at the time.

He actually asked me to go ahead and coat them, but luckily I told him I would not start on them until he had paid.

Last PM from him says that he would paypal for the parts the following day. That was over a week ago, not a word from him since.

Let me start by stating that this thread is not for the membership to start bashing. If you are not involved in this transaction or have information to help the OP then please keep your opinion to yourself.

RR: It sounds like you used due diligence and protected yourself against loss. Good job. Perhaps CT has an explanation. A simple I am not interested in the covers would have been a courtesy.
