Another reason I never leave any money in my PayPal account. If they try to take it from my bank account, then I can talk to my bank about it.

This is 110% true! I sent some guy on Ebay $1,200.00 for a supercharger I won. The jack-*** never shipped it to me. Took my money and disappeared off of the planet. Had around 165 + feedbacks too (100% rating) and still ripped me off. One little tip: Check to see what the person earned the feedback on! Was it something of value or just chiken **** items? Make a long story short, I filed a dispute with PayPal. I won the dispute and PayPal recovered 47 CENTS of my money! As luck would have it, I used my credit card. The credit card company reversed the charges and went after PayPal. The lady from the credit card company told me to ALWAYS use a credit card when paying for something through PayPal. I follow her advice now.

Does anybody ever wonder WHY PayPal always asks you if you are sure you want to use a credit card when clicking on the "Use alternate funding option"? They don't want you to use credit cards! This way they can't be held accountable for the transaction amount.

Just my wonderful little experience. I hope this post will help others when using PayPal to purchase items online. There are some people out there that just don't have any morals. You have to protect yourself. I feel much better now!
