Default Hard Lesson Learned

I sent injectors to a member on here. He paid through paypal, I didnt put delivery confirmation on them thinking proof that I sent them to his address was enough. WRONG

The buyer says he didnt recieve them and I thought paypal was there to limit liability with online transactions. He made a claim through paypal and they billed me even though I showed them my despute with the USPS and the proof I sent them, they still pulled money from my account.
So now Im out money and injectors and paypal gets to charge thier fees.

Paypal wont do **** even if you prove the fault isnt yours the buyer didnt recieve the item, you must have tracking confirmation. This **** really irritates me. And if I did have proof of reciept that he didnt recieve them; paypal would tell me that isnt thier liability and I get to file a claim with the USPS and Ive got a better chance of getting hit by lightning than them paying for something they lost. Needless to say I will never use paypal again they only protect the buyer.

This is why I hate PayPal, they don't do **** to protect people. They are an absolute POS company. The only thing they have going for them is that they make it very convenient to make online payments to people.

this just means you need to pay the extra $2 to get a tracking number or require a signature. thats the only way to keep yourself from this happening.

unless they just don't ship it to you period. then they cancel their ebay account and empty their paypal account. That's what happened to me (what I was talking about above) The guy that screwed me didn't realize I spent about 2 years as a Private Investigator and I learned some pretty neat tricks for locating people that didn't want to be found. Within 2 days I knew this guys address and phone number. After I emailed him that information and told him I'd be seeing him real soon he felt it necessary to refund me my money. In my case, Paypal said sorry- nothing they could do. Wouldn't even refund the fees they kept from me transferring the douche bag money. Now I am much more careful who I buy from on ebay.

In anycase, always use a credit card. If you're buying something w/ a CC and don't get your item, the CC company can do a charge back against even PayPal to return your money to you. I've seen that done before.

I always use a credit card when paying through paypal, it gives you at least one more party to dispute through and who can stop MasterCard??
