Becarefull of faston10&ahalfs as a seller, read my post.

If he makes it good, this post will be edited with a good reply with slow delivery.

Received tracking number as of 1-11-07

Well just like I said here is the edit: Received the MAF and its on the truck and works, he made good on the sale just very slow in doing it and had to go through all the trouble to get it. If you buy from him just expect to wait 3-4 weeks for it.

I saw the bed...The exterior is an 6.5-7/10 he stated 8/10...the inside however is scratched to hell with mud and dirt EVERYWHERE......I am thinking about trading it in to a junk yard and getting $600 (if I am lucky) and paying cash for the rest of a decent bed...I dunno if this one will be salvageable...for the amount of body work to get it new I could have gotten a new a new bed...
Mud everywhere...has to be power washed and the tailgate wing is ruined....

Caviat emptor

Also I found it fishy why he didn't include pictures of the inside of the bed and shipped it here upside down.....If I would have seen this beds inside I wouldn't have bought it.

Also he offered 1100. I said 1200 shipped (figuring i would save a bit cause shipping would be 200-500) I offered 1200 and come to find out he is driving it here himself. He knew it all along and hosed me out of $100.

Seems like this member is taking advantage of you and v8 for sure. Who has time to drive all over the country?

Legal recourse?

Well for a show truck...Not good....I have to have the whole thing repainted PLUS the body work to get the deep scratches (way into the metal) fixed.....On my stepside the first mod I did was a bedrug to protect the beds finish...

I will not have a bed liner in this bed. Just the air tank and nitrous bottle. I don't want to cover things up... I have a Truxedo here for that waiting for the bed to be finished.

That is why it's a good idea to get detailed pics or ask very specific questions about things first. A number rating is very subjective. It is a used bed so I definately wouldn't have been expecting a bed in brand new condition unless it was specifically stated that it was.

One way or the other you were gonna pay to have it shipped so him delivering doesn't seem like ripping you off to me. IMHO.
