Slowslx posted an ad selling 60lb fuel injectors for $300 on 04-08-10. Slowlsx asked me to send the money as a gift, and it would save him the 3% fee that paypal charges. I was cautious of this because I have sold things, and never minded the 3%. I decided to pay an extra 3% so that he was not shorted any of the $300 that he wanted, and made the total $309. I purchased the fuel injectors on 04-11-10, and he said he would send them out on 04-13-10. I had not received the injectors as of 04-22-10, and sent slowlsx 2 messages. One message was an email and went to the paypal account, and the other was a PM that went to his performancetruck.net account. Slowlsx never responded. I sent another message to slowlsx on 04-23-10 through performancetrucks.net to his email account through the site, and he responded stating that he had a hard time finding all of the pieces to the injectors that were clearly pictured in the ad, and had sent them out that day(04-23-10). I sent slowlsx another email on 04-30-10 stating that I still had not received the injectors, and I would like the tracking number, and never got a response. I filed a claim through paypal, and will keep everyone updated with the outcome. Just so everyone knows, he has a cam for sale now on this site, so be careful.

 

That sucks man, waiting nearly a month for parts and bad communication is unacceptable IMO.

Just a quick update. Slowlsx did send me an email stating that he did ship the injectors UPS on Saturday 04-24-10, and was unable to follow up with UPS due to an emergency. If this is the true story I am a compassionate person that completely understands, and would have just liked a heads up. I will keep evryone posted as to what I find.

 

ups did not have an excuse as to why it didnt get shipped out. i took the injectors and took them to usps and i already sent him the tracking number. Gadgetized knows the situation i was in and i am very sorry it didnt go as planned.

 

sometimes people dont do **** like this. its not my fault that ups has a bunch of teenagers that cant wipe their own *** much less ship my stuff out. and part of it is my fault but its hard to follow up when i have 30 inches of cozz practically in my *** from tailbone surgery.. hmm imagine the pain. so please dont speak unless you know what is going on.

 

I used to work for UPS and most the people that work there are just there for a paycheck. Seem some crazy stuff.
