Default Oil seperator question

I put my oil seperator on last week. Let me see if I have this straight. it only collects oil under boost?

Why is it so dirty? I changed my oil the day I put it on. It has filled up twice in 2 weeks. I am scared to think how much is in the intercooler.

Not a bad idea. I HAD the LFP oil seperator on. Puller my blower after 10k and it was covered in oil. Some good that did.

yes.. u will still get oil in the iintercooler, if u have an oil seperator.. u get some oil in the oil seperator and oil in the blower.. if u do the pcv delete, then u better do it right, or you'll get a lean condition from the breathers... L&S seperator, i heard works great!

What does "do it right" mean? Seems pretty straight forward.... run the hose from the pcv to a tank then from the tank to the original spot on the intake/blower. Right? .... I hope Thanks, Jim (installed one a couple weeks back and hope I did it right)

You should at least strap it down to a dyno after doing the PCV delete. The unmetered air can do silly things.

I built my own catch can, and I get no oil smell or mist in the engine bay like I did with just breather filters on the valve covers. Works great, and I pulled my blower 10k after doing this, and my rotors show no signs of flaking, even with a port job, 6 extra psi, and nitrous.
