Default Insuring a Lightning

Hey guys, I just turned 20 and have no accidents or tickets on my record and still pay $190/mo. for my '04 Silverado. I was just wondering what you guys are paying for insurance on your Lightnings?

TIA

When I first got mine it was running me around 650 a year for full coverage, so around 54 bucks a month. It's going to depend on where you live. Other pay more, some pay less than I.

Most insurance companies charge you as a regular F150 as far as rates are concerned. There's no special classification for them other than replacement value.

I got a quote yesterday, and my rate will actually DROP from what I'm paying for my 100% stock Silverado

Hmmmmmm... cheaper insurance, over 2-second drop in 1/4 mile E/T...

I wish I could do that lol. I won't be in the market for at least another year, I want to hoard up as much money as I can for a down payment.

I'll sell you the truck though if you want it I need it GONE.

I pay about 145/month for my 99 SS and my 03 Lightning. Both full coverage. I'm only 23.
