cut out worth it???

have 6#, cai, and predator tune. Thinking of adding a cut out but someone told me that it would lose to much back pressure. Is this true???

These trucks aren't like a LS1 based Chevy/GMC, I ran open headers just for the fun of it until I put my new exhaust on it and it ran like a turd, plus it would require 2 cutouts since it is true dual exhaust
