Default z06 cam vs comp

ok heres the deal im stuck on two choices the z06 cam and comps 212/218 hi lift. i know im gonna get multiple answers hopefully but thats what im after.....my truck is a 2005 gmc ecsb 2wd im wanting something that will perform good throughout the rpm band but drive well too. what answer im after i guess is which one would be better for mostly stop and go traffic with the occasional track use. input would be greatly appreciated...

If you have the money, go with the comp cam, because nothing sounds better than a cammed v8.

But if you're strapped for cash, an LS6 cam will be very nice also. But the idle will sound completely stock.

I've been told the comp 212/218 has good all around power and that the ls6 cam looses power below 3,000 rpm.

I would go with Comp Cam, I am very happy with mine across the band.
