Sorry for the update but the Marine Corps has me runnin around like a lunatic for the past couple weeks. I did all my checking and everything checks out good. I havent bucked another rocker for a good 400 miles. Knock on wood! The sewing machine sound is really annoying though. Im thinking about running a thicker oil and putting my bullit race muffler back on! Lol

my 6.2 only had 18k on it and it was already broken.
my 5.3 short block had 45k and had many many cam swaps and it was broken too.

so what exactly did you do to fix your problem?

I turned the rocker arm saddles upside down which kicked my rockers in the other direction to give me a perfect wipe pattern on my valve tips. Haha. Its an insane fix which shouldnt have mattered but it worked and still is working. Just wish I could get rid of the dang sewing machine sound. Not as loud as some peoples engines on here but I am **** when it comes to any little noise.

I'm sorry but I call BS .
I read this entire thread and you have not yet measured push rods. But yet you have done basically everything but that.
Flipping the stands! Lol
That is not the fix.
