Default What hp can stock block hold on boost

I have lq9 with 224/230 cam with 116lsa 6.12 lift, I have tsp stage 1 317 heads arp head bolts, ls7 lifters and trays, patriot dual springs and Comp trunion rocker kit, with hardened 7.4 rods , ls2 timing chain. How much whp can this handle ?

Depends on the tune and fuel quality..
700-1000hp

So could I run 600 - 650 on this set up like I have it, safely?

If the tune is very good, yes.

Are you planning to get that number with the Radix, or are you planning something else?

It seems as though guys are getting to 1000 to the ground before they have problems.

People are making more than 1000 to the ground with them. some at the 1200 mark! i wouldnt be worried if you have the tune on. If the tune is off billet blocks dont even last...

I'm at 500 whp now with 2.75 pulley, just planning ahead for maybe 1900 or 2300 or turbo who knows . My tuner is awesome, Jeremy F ormato he does a lot of tuning down south on all ls motors. You guys kow we are never satisfied lol. Thanks for the responses

I think is be happy with 650 on the street I don't run it track , I would just to see finished product maybe.

he has a stock bottom end LQ9 so that higher compression

I wouldent push it over 600 wheel unless Im ready with the cash to buy a new low CR motor

a small number of trucks got over 1000 mark and most have 700 or less befor getting a forged bottom end

look for stock48's truck
