Default What gaskets needed for cam swap?

I just got my ultra torque cam for vinci this morning

Been buying everything in pieces

Just have lifters and gaskets to buy

Is there a "cheaper" better route than the ls7 lifters?

I plan on getting cometic gaskets .04 thickness give me roughly .25 jump in compression. What is yall's opinion on this?

What other gaskets are a must?

How many miles on the engine? You dont have to remove the heads for a cam swap. Im still running the stock lifters. For gaskets:
water pumpx2, timing cover, timing cover seal, new crank bolt,
for heads, head gaskets, and new gm bolts.
I would look into getting the ls2 timing chain. cheap and alot stronger than stock
bottom is LS2

150,000 miles so lifters are a must! If I go with the ls2 timing chain are you saying I have to get a new timing cover along with he gasket/seals for the timing cover?

I resued my stock cam gear. Works fine. Ive spun mine to 6900 a few times and its holding strong. may also want to inspect the oil pump while your there.

I reused every gasket when I did my cam swap, if you cam is mild I would let the lifters alone. With the ls7 lifters you will need different length push rods than stock. Unless you are spinning it to the moon, a cam swap can be done pretty cheap, I spent no more than $400 dollars on mine

First if all some info on what year the truck is would be awsome

If it is a gen 3 motor your do not change the front cover nor does the LS2 wedge get used for you.

Gen 4 block there is a whole part list i did in the GMT900 section that breaks everything down to you.
