Default What do you need, this cam, 5.3L?

224/220 .581/.581 116LSA

What all do you need to make this cam work in a bone stock 5.3L RCSB. I know it will need springs. What else? Any flycutting? Will p to v clear? Stall? The sooner I can find out the better.

Thanks in advance for your help, D.

Stall and a tune are the ones I would get first, can't live W/O the tune. then a exhaust and a intake will further enhance the cam.

Stall, tune, springs. Heavy *** foot , and pushrods would be a wise investment also.

Clearances should be fine, especially with the 5.3's dished pistons. On a stock motor .581 lift whould be ok anyway.

Ive milled .050 and am running a cam with 222 and .566 lift p/v shouldnt be an issue.

That looks like an FI cam why did you choose that one?

I wouldnt go with anything under a 2600 stall.
