The zo6 cam is a good choice, if you don't want to spend alot of money, works well for a turbo set up.. If I had to do it again, I would pick your FI cam, run it till you go FI.. It is too much to change it(cam) out just to slap a turbo on when the time comes, JMO. Do you ant to add a stall, gears ext.. That has alot to do based on your cam choice. I would look to upgrade the trans, rear, they will leave on ya first

If your gonna buy a cam get it for the time being. Dont put a z06 cam in planning on boost IMO. Just in case you never get it boosted. Another note is realize the z06 is popular because of the price. Better gains can be made with bigger cams. I DO run the 02 z06 cam....

woah i replied to this exact thread in gm engine/exhaust and i said exactly...

02 up z06 cam would be good and its good for forced induction already. you would hve to get a set of ls6 springs (usually about $50 to your door).

be sure to use the search. many people have done that and its worked great. just look around and you will find some good stuff!

welcome to your future debt!

Why did you just drop the coin on SW LTs when you plan to go turbo? Even if you go with a STS kit the manifolds would be better suited. Why not plan on a Maggie for your truck?
