Default What aftermarket heads

So I pulled my 799 heads to do lifters and while I was at it I was gonna mill them .30, valve work and P&P them. The guy doing them checked them and found 3 cracks on 1 and 4 on the other so now I guess I need new heads.
What is a good aftermarket head for my combo that will work but not get me divorced?

Thanks, Mitch

They are aluminum, why not just weld them up and have them machined, probably still be cheaper than aftermarket heads.

your sig says you already have P&P heads... so why would you be doing more p&p work on already p&p'd heads?

haven't heard of many LS motors cracking heads on NA applications especially at the power levels these truck motors are at NA, that's pretty strange.

Just get a new set of stock heads and start over. I've got a set of 5.3s in the garage I'll sell ya.

What kind of gains would I get over the 5.3 heads?
Is it worth the extra couple hundred?
I have a brand new rec port intake kicking around, worth switching to rec port?
