Default what 2 bore a lq4 to

ok i got a stock lq4. but i got a p1 prochager for it so i was goin 2 put all arp bolts and studs and new bearings and a cam swap. so i figured mite as well put new rings n it also. and one thing 2 another. if i am goin that far mite as well just bore it and put a good boost/nitrous piston n it. so my question is how much do i bore it and what size piston would i need. thanx

If the bores look good, you could leave it, just do a frged stock cube set up. Or you could go 30 over and get 370 out of it... Once you go big on a bore, if something were to happen , you need a bore to clean a hole up, if it is 40-60 over you will not have enough to take out if the wall is scored bad enough.. Plus when you bore a block over 60+ you run the issue of problems, because the walls get then.. Not so much a issue on NA set ups but more so when you boosting them..

However you want to do it, either stock bore or 30 over.. Stock cubes are 364, 30 over would put you at 370.. So not much diff there.. How much boost you looking to run??

If u dont have to bore it dont! No reason to, you will see no difference and if you have problems in the future you have more cylinder walls to work with

x2! The only reason I went .030'' on my 370 is the block had a nick in one cyl and I couldn't get .020'' pistons at the time.
