weighing my engine build engine options

i guess the next question is what crank. now know that this is not a light build. i might not be spoending thousands on heads and **** but thats what the turbo's are for. my honest goal here is 900-1000 rwhp. any less i might as well stay with what i have. so with that being said, will a k1 crank take this kind of abuse or am i going to have to look at the callies magnum for this?
this power level is not going to be all the time. thats what boost controllers are for. it will be set back for when i need it. it will run 10-12 psi for daily driving.

yeah, but there is like a $900 price difference from the magnum to the k1. thats why i'm asking. lol
i built a 397 hemi for a guy and he got the k1 crank and rods. they looked like good pieces. the h rods are not rated for the power though. have to upgrade to the i beams i guess.

when i built the hemi i measured both sides and top to bottom and side to side. along with the crank and used pastiguage just to be sure. other motors where i didn't have the tools i just used a plastigauge but made sure it went all the way across.

I like the dial bore indicator and micrometer method personally but obviously plastigauge works just fine.
I think youll like a 402 setup for added low end tq with that long crank, I sure miss it. When my L76 ***** the bed it will get a long crank in it and 10.5ish CR along with a spinny thing in the exhaust

thats what i'm thinking, 10-10.5 twins and loads of water/meth.
i was dead set on the 5.3 stroker but i'm still unsure. it seems people are getting the heads to stay down better nowadays with 4" bores and the ls9 gaskets. and of course better tuning.
