Watch me F this up...

The 408 in the Camaro broke a LS2 timing chain and took out 5 valves on 1 head a few months ago. I've removed a rotating assembly before, but never put one back together. I'm going to give this one a shot and hopefully it's not an epic fail. A few pistons picked up some valve dings but I'm going to re-use them. Since I'm reusing the pistons and rings I plan to open the ring gaps to .026 and .028 and put the pistons back to their original holes without honing the block. The oil pressure when it was running was lower than I like to see so I might as well attempt to freshen up the bottom while it's out. It's going back together with the following parts:
New bearings: Clevite H-Series Mains, ACL rods, Durabond cam
Weisco pistons
TSP h beam rods
TSP crank
Cloyes billet timing set with C5R chain
Melling high pressure pump
ARP studs
Aftermarket PRC LS3 257cc heads
LS9 gaskets
226/246 .629/.629 118+4
johnson lifters
TSP chromoly pushrods
TSP Billet oil restrictor
I also picked up a core 80e and bought the Jake's stage 5 kit along with their D321+ trans brake valve body. I'm planning to try a Pro Torque converter for the first time. I considered changing my boost source but after all the money spent on the fresh motor and transmission/converter I'm tired of spending money. The 3.6 kenne bell goes back on top but with a smaller pulley. Why don't we ever leave good enough alone? I could probably chunk this thing back together with a new oil pump, o ring, timing chain and let it eat with the same old 80e/pheonix converter and have a lot more money in my bank account.
