That vinci cam is it a vvt cam ?
Do you know the max lift the gen 4s can go with stock head gasket thickness
I know these things respond well to more lift
Yeah im aiming for max torque with stock heads , at least for know its a dd and not a race truck but I do love it and cant stop moding it

im doing a cam swap in my 2012 5.3 lmg motor. im keeping the dod lifters and using blue springs from scoggin dickie. we already have #799 ls6 type heads. im running grind#689-421-13 cam with phaser limiter#5460. you will need a different timing gear if you run a three bolt cam. and you wont need a phaser limiter.

Craigsix , im glad someone else is doing this . Im not sure which cam that is bjt ill look it up When do u plan on having this beast up n running ? Goodluck man would really like to see a idle vid,.as far as all the present vvt cams available they all sound amazing

my mod list so far with 6000 miles. knn filter airraid tube ported tbfast lsxrt 102 intake slp udp kooks longtubes with kooks catted ypipe into 3 inch exhaust with 3inch 18" glasspack with turndown before axle.yella terra 1.8 shaft mount rockers. circle d 3200 converter. tuned by area47 shifting at 6100rpms.coming soon 4.10 gears and the dod/vvt cam i mentioned before!

the cam is comp camshaft gm ls 358 vvt/afm 266piihr14.part #689-421-13.specs are 216/214 intake 228/226 exhaust duration at .050 .500 lift to be safe with the dod lifters.however with my 1.8 yella terra rockers it will be about .536 lift.
