Default Victor intakes?

Ive been seeing a lot of threads about the victor and victor jr. intakes. Anyone want to fill me in on what kind of gains over the stock truck manifold I might see on a forged 408 with around 10:1 CR and built for small-med nitrous shot?

I just saw a pic in someones sig with a throttle body and injectors, I dont know why, but I for some reason thought it was for carbed setups only lol.

Thanks a lot guys!

Unless your powerband is in the 7000+ range dont waste your money. A stock ls6 will outperform the jr considerably under 6500rpm.

Alright, enough said there lol. Its..well, it STARTED as a budget build, but I forgot to triple the cost before I started buying parts lol

How well do ls6 intakes swap over to trucks, and is it worth it? I heard the truck manifold makes more torque?

Here's an article comparing the TPIS spyder to the LS6 (and Weiland/Lig, FAST, LS1, LS2). http://www.tpis.com/plog/index.php?o...Id=14&blogId=1

The TPIS manifold is an identical casting (internally) to the Vic Jr.
