that's almost as bad as asking "If I was to buy a truck, how much power would it make."
There are a ton of variables like:
How big of a cam are you willing to run
Mailorder or in person tune
Are you willing to run an aftermarket torque converter.

Im willing to go somewhat aggresive on cam but keep in mind that this is my DD so nothing to crazy... and If there are some reputable performance shops in the DFW area i would be willing to do the tune in person and as far as torque converter no more than like a 2500 stall

I would say you could reasonably get around 350 to the wheels give or take. I would run something like a 220/220 in that lq9. You could maybe get away with a 224/224, but that converter isn't much bigger than stock.
There are a few shops in DFW who tune, but Justin from Blackbear Performance is flying in on December 12-14 to do tunes in the Dallas/FW area and I would HIGHLY suggest him.

I daily drive my truck and don't have another form of transportation. I'm running an ss3600 which stalls to 3600 behind my 5.3L with a 224/224 comp cam. The combo feels pretty strong, but I couldn't give you an accurate 1/4 time since I have no traction below 30 mph.
EDIT-If you're worried about going with too big of a converter go with a tt3000. It will drive like stock under normal conditions and be great for when you want to go WOT. It isn't the best for 1/4 times but it would be a nice compromise between driveability and performance

Definitely man, I drive my truck to school and back which is 400 miles and my truck doesn't skip a beat(knocks wood). I drive in stop and go traffic to school, work, and baseball practice and it's been great so far.
