where does my vacuum line from my brake booster connect to? on my 01 it was connected to the back of my intake manifold. but on my new 04 motor i dont know where it goes.

my brakes are really hard to press.

On my 03 it goes to the back of the manifold.

I don't think it should go anywhere else.

 

well my hose does not fit

 

does it not fit?? or is there not a vac port there?? I'm not sure, but if you grabbed an LQ4 that was being used with hydro-boost brakes there may not be a port back there...easiest to just swap intakes if you still have the 5.3 intake and its usable.

 

my old intake is gone. the port in the back is to big for the hose.
