Not an LS but a 5.7 Vortec I pulled out of a 340K+ mile wrecker that was knocking (big shocker)
The coating of sludge is so thick it looks like melted and refrozen candy bar
(the weird lighter colored chunks are roof insulation that Hurricane Ike knocked down from my shop ceiling...)
