turbo guys w/cams
#1
Just got a customers motor back, and he said they put a F/I cam in. Specs off the top of my head are 602/609 on a 112 I think rpm from 2800-7200. It is a 402 stroker. My concern is he changed from a blower set up to turbo. I don;t want to put this all together to have the wrong cam in there. Any help?

Too little lsa -- too much overlap for a turbo. The rest is pretty close to ok. But if he's going to change cams, he'll want an intake biased (reverse split) cam with a higher lsa. I run a 236/230 .610/.600 on a 115. I switched to this from the dual pattern version (same stats) and it runs much better, and much smoother.
