Default TSP PRC gold spring kit

I bought my cam kit this past week from Texas Speed. I got the cam kit with the PRC gold springs and titanium retainers, seats and seals. My question is, do I have to install the new seals? Also, if the new seals weren't replaced during the cam swap would I run into any problems and how hard is it to replace the new valve seals? Also, this is going on a 00 silverado with a 5.3L.

I plan on letting a local speed shop do the cam swap for me. If I had to get them to install the valve seals, would the heads have to come off or could they stay on and the seals be installed.

The vavle seals push/press on to the guides when the springs are off. You need to install the new seats and seals that come with the kit when swapping to dual springs. The heads stay on.

You will need to use their seals. When using a dual spring kit, there is a lower seat that needs to go on before anything. Then you install the new seal and use a 7/16 socket I believe and lighty tap the seal with the socket till it seats fully. Once it seats then slide the dual springs over the seal and let it sit on the lower seat. Then go ahead and put the retainer on top of spring. Use a good valve spring tool to compress the spring. Dual springs can be a pain with the incorrect tool.
