I'd also like to know if anyone is running this cam in a 5.3L RCSB, preferably 4x4. I'm thinking of putting one in on a 112 LSA with a 3,600 RPM Yank converter.

they would both be fine in a 5.3, with at least a 3K stall. power wont come in good until after 2500-3000 with that cam.. 114 LSA will be easier to tune, 112 will sound better at idle, torque comes in a little sooner, etc...

they are both fine in a daily driver.

you should already have 3.73's in a 4x4, i would think...

yes, I have 3.73s.

The only thing I don't know about is how long my trans (stock with the addition of an HD-2 and vette servo) will last...

mine is still holding fine. 45K miles so far, sprayed a cam'd 4.8 for a while, now i have a built 6.0, still doing good.

you never no, sometimes they go on a stock motor, sometimes they hold power for a while.
