Ive never replaced the gaskets doing a cam swap on these motors. That looks like a good combo. It would be really fun with a 28-3000 stall IMO. I had a 3000 in mine and its my DD. I liked it, but Im going to get a yank, cause they are a little tighter. From talking with people that have them, they drive almost like factory.

i think you just put it on the dyno, see where the power comes in, and pick a stall speed based on that.
or you can fax whatever company youre buying your tq converter from the dyno sheet and have them make a recommendation.
