no, the heads are off and i'm waiting on parts. i'm currently finishing up my ls6 heads. soon as i get them finished and all my parts come in, this bitch is going back together. who would have thought, i'd take my only awd vehicle apart and it would snow 7-11".

This is from the installation instructions for AFR heads: "Head Bolt Torque:

Apply moly-oil mixture to washers, and area around head bolt to prevent galling and improper torque readings. 11MM ARP torque to 70 ft. lbs. with moly lube, 8mm torque to 23 ft. lbs. with moly lube. A re-torque is recommended after initial start-up and cool down (allow 2-3 hours for cooling). Sealer should be applied to all head bolts or studs that enter into the blocks water-jacketing system. Permatex is a good general-purpose sealer."

torqued them all 5 times. just like the web site says. man was that a pain.

well, new lifters are in, heads are on, push rods in, rocker arms torqued, and valve covers installed. i applied orange rtv to the intake rocker arm bolts, since the intake runners were opened up.

the battery logo on the heads thing, what all models and years does that cover?
