yeah but, Id take a built w2w stroker motor over a stock GM 427 any day.

oneslow: checkout the 2006 april issue of GM high-tech they have 25 popular LSx stroker crate motors from all the big companies. It is a great issue they give complete specs, prices and all its well worth the five bucks if your seriously getting one.

It says that w2w uses dart-ported heads, 10.8 comp, cam motion roller and is rated at 550 with a 2 year warranty price is 8200 for Long block

I dunno much about w2w, but that price sounds steep to me. I did my research looking for my motor and even called many of the builders listed in the GM High Tech piece referred to. Don't forget u still gotta install, tune, change tranny...etc so the costs will add up. My research concluded that the best case is to have the builder install whenever possible. Don't forget that most strokers burn some oil, and I'd check references of current users before dropping down my cash. Livernois, Lingenfelter, Beck and m,any others prob come a fair amount cheaper as well. For that money I'd go with bigger cubes than a stroker. World Force LS7 Warhawk block built up will come a few bucks cheaper than that price! Good Luck.

guys.. you forget. i did alot of research into the warhawk ls7 and i came to thinking that it would be cheaper to build a 402 stroking an ls2 . And not to mention i have to worry about passing emissions. i dont think they would even test my truck if they saw the ls7 intake and plastics... not to mention the ginormous exhuast ports. i think a 402 ls2 stroker would be easier to pass emissions than the 427. And the w2w powertrain comes with a complete harness and retuned computer. all i would need is a tranny.
