Talking strokers

Does anybody have a spec sheet that shows how many cubes you can get out of all the engines 4.8,5.3,5.7,and 6.0 let me know something, later

With all keeping their stock bore?
4.8/5.3 w/ 4" crank - 360ci
w/4.125" crank - 370ci
w/4.2" crank - 377ci
5.7 w/ 4" crank - 382ci
w/ 4.125" crank - 394ci
w/ 4.2" crank - 401ci
6.0 w/ 4" crank - 402ci
w/ 4.125" crank - 414ci
w/ 4.2" crank - 422ci

thanks man this is what I wanted, now I guess all you have to do is figure the bore if it was to be bored and you are in business, later.

what are the stock cranks in all these blocks? Im curious on how to build a 370 out of a 4.8 block

4.8 stroke-3.26
5.3, 5.7, and 6.0 use the same stroke-3.62

BTW, in NO way is a 4.125" crank recommended for a 4.8/5.3 block. I don't know how far you can bore a 4.8/5.3 block(stock bore is 3.78"), but a 3.85" bore and 4" crank would get you 372ci.

Use a 6.0 blocked bored .030 over with stock crank and rods. If you are going F/I use forged rods and pistons with the stock crank. Much cheaper than the 4.8. You save on the crank and all the headaches of making a stroker that big work with the 4.8 block.

i know but i thought it would be different

maybe ill just make a iron block ls1 from my 4.8

so guyz do u mean the 4.8 iron block ( stock ) its danger and unsafe to put a 383 stroker kit !!!???? i dont want to bore my block so much so thats if something happen i can bore it again not throw the block .

You need to get your block sonic tested to see if it has enough material to safely go to the necessary 3.9 bore.
