I have that LQ9 block bored 60 over with forged pistons and LS2 rotating assembly.
My buddy is starting to get 'gun shy' after reading about over heating issues and other problems of weak cylinder walls.
What have you guys seen???

he is just worried..
he built a 355 from a bare block and it spun a main bearing.
just one of them things.. I want him to run it cause that's a lot of cubes haha..
ill try to talk him into it...
anybody else?
I don't know much about this specific stuff.. I just threw a stock LQ4 in mine and boosted it along with nitrous..

read some info on when the block is bored that far, there might be weak castings that deep into the metal.
Since the engine builder didnt seem like he wanted to talk too much, i think he is goin to sell it and go with a stock LQ4.
