My yank 3200 drives a little less tame then stock. From all I have read, exp and seen yanks are a very tight vert compared to others. I think you should just look into swapping to a smaller cam. It has alot of duration in turn making you run the truck harder to get moving( power higher up in the band). A cam on the lines of 220-224 would be a HUGE difference over your current one, even using the same converter.

What size converter are you running?

I'd probably like the converter better with lower gears in it. I took 4.10's out of it for the freeway, but with the long *** gears in the 4l80e, it feels like i'm riding on the converter forever.

If someone tells me a vehicle "drives like stock" after a modification, they're either a moron or the modification wasn't a modification at all. Think about it.

I'm driving a 5.3 on a 228/232 and 3700 TC as a daily, drivibilty? I dont mind. Gas consumption, I don't mind. Enjoy it.
