Default spun cam bearing on 6.0

Well this last weekend here i began to swap in my 228 cam and valve springs. upon removing the cam the middle cam bearing came out, with evidence on the cam that its not been happy for who knows how long. so talked to local machine shop and they said they can knurl and reinstall a fresh one considering its not to far out of spec?? any thoughts on this, anyone ever have this or know anyone thats had it done. its all got me a little frustrated but thats life. Its lookin like the engine is gonna have to come apart no matter what, and that means im gonna have a hard time slapin it back together and calling it "GOOD". Any thoughts suggestions appreciated..

my next question comes with the thought of getting a 408 rotating assembly to get some more ci. What kind of Reliability or miles can i expect to get out of a stroked engine.

Or my other option is to freshin up bottom with stock parts and get a set of stage 3 patriots.
