Default Spec cam

I had a cam spec done for my truck. Just want to get some feedback on what you guys think. Most mods are in my sig. I am also porting the 799 heads and adding Ferrea valves and decking them .030.

Truck is 2007 Crew Cab Short Bed 2wd
Adding a 2800 stall.

Comp Cams: Advertised 267 275

At .050 214 222

LSA 114 + 4 degrees advance

ICL 110

Intake lift from cam .329 with 1.8 rockers .592

Exhaust lift from cam .333 with 1.8 rockers .599

Could run into Piston-to-valve clearance issues with those 1.85 rockers and milled heads....

Just keep that in mind.

The cam will have chop and will enjoy the extra compression. I think the 2800 stalled converter is just right.

Looks like a nice middle of the road cam, as mentioned it should work well with a 2800 converter. Should make decent torque yet pull a little higher than the favorite 212/218...what's the lift on that cam with stock rockers?

Lift would be about .565

Lift with 1.7 rockers:

Intake .559

Exhaust .566

I'd leave the factory size rockers on there if it were me...less stress on the valve springs, and there's no need for that extra lift if you're running the stock heads. Even aftermarket ported heads seem to have their best flow numbers between .550-.575 from what I've seen...
