im sure you have your opinions and want to share you love of mast. i however won't be running a cam from them. they have nice heads, but at an average of a grand more then most companies for 5cfm difference. hmmm nope.

the procharger would end up in the same category as well. plus fuel system. same thing with a twin screw/roots blower.
Or you could contact trick performance or kb racing and get one of their premade kits. can cost between 3000 and 5000 depending on what you want. about 300 for the rest of the exhaust, 500 for injectors.

injectors - id1k's, a grand
redone fuel system to a rsfs, w/ pump. 1k-1500 depending on pump and parts, line, misc stuff.

there is about 2-2500 in those parts alone. add this to the cost of a procharger, or turbo kit. that is the constants in the thousands of variable directions this could go.

the turbo would be something that could be used as the motor and trans progress in the build, if it gets built.

personally at this point in time a play toy vehicle would be needed vs trying to go ***** out with the daily driver.

Absolutely, everyone likes their specific brands...

their heads are indeed a lot more money... not because of flow numbers though.

their heads are not cast. they cnc'd, new, from a block aluminum. While most shops just cnc the ports only. Everything is machined with durability and longevity in mind... when specs are compared to their competitor's they're more "heavy-duty".

the cam i have is actually a fairly good cam, despite the lift. the more i research on this, the more it would be better off to do a intake manifold first, but fast doesn't have one out yet, and the holley is way too much for what i have right now.
