well if richard is recieving them, i'd say he is one of the more knowledgable people on here to tell you what to do, but i know people who have taken .040-.050 off have had problems with the intake fitting/ sealing.

Richard took .045 off mine, no issues with intake sealing, and there was lots of room with my 210/218, .551/.551, 112, so I'm not worried about my 220/218, .581/.563, 111.

hey v8 spike had the heads .045 taken off of them and with the 220/220 cam he had no issues with the pvc
