The best bang for your buck would be to get rid of the need bearings in your stock rockers and replace them with the Comp Cams LS Trunion Upgrade Kit

Is that kit for high reving? Or just as security for cam. So keeping stock ones not gonna be an issue ?

We run the stockers with the Comp Trunion upgrade on most of our builds!

Is there a solution similar to this say if I were to add L92 heads on top of my LQ4? Thx.

dont mean to still the thread but what exactly does the trunion upgrade do? just a smoother moving rocker arm and I guess the bearings are a little better?

It's more about the security. The stockers have a pressed in retainer that could potentially pop off and let the needle rollers out. The up grade uses a longer shaft and a C clip to keep the retainer from coming out.

It's around $130 for this retro fit kit which sure beats $400 on a set of Roller Rockers. Roller Rockers Don't really net much of a gain on the LS series engines.

Not something I have ever heard of happening much or ever tho. Anyone actually ever had a stock rocker come apart
