There's no standard, pushrod length needs to be measured. I'm using 7.325" pushrods with triple 12 and ls7 lifters, albeit my heads are milled.

Most can get away with guessing pushrod length because of the wide range of plunger movement with stock lifters.

I just put ls7 lifters in and measured for pushrod size and i ended up getting 7.350 pushrods, before I was running the originals from 2002 with 7.4 cause "thats what everybody runs"

With the cam in my sig, Ls7 lifters, 0.03 milled heads, and stock 0.051 head gaskets. I originally ran 7.350 b/c I had to guess b/c its my dd. They were to nosie so I checked the height and come to find out I needed 7.375". So I don't think the extra 0.05 height of the Ls7 should be taken into account since they are a direct replacement, or at least from my experience it seems I only had to shorten the pushrod for the milling not the lifter.

Could a small amount of spring bind be causing this without massively destroying anything else? I don't know, just throwing it out there.
