Rear crank seal install advice needed

I've only heard of flipping seals around if you are running a vacuum pump or dry sump.

I would also look at the LSA, but not the LS9 since it is factory dry sump.

If some of yall arnt aware, the older seals used to be lipped the other way, at some point they were "updated" and now people use them backwards, as I did

Honestly, if you have enough presssure in the crank case to be pushing oil out the seals, youve got some fixing to do. I ran 12psi on my old Camaro and never had 1 leak. It seems though that I had the "old" seal design though. Whats the longevity of the flipped seal since they are designed to work one way?

I have no problems with leaks and I'm running 16psi. Never heard of installing the seal backwards.

Like my other point, it also depends on the motors rings etc. I had no problems at 9psi stock 4.8. I had problems on this motor.

The seal should last fine
