Installed height is more important when talking coil bind than lift.
here is a good thread i found about ls6 springs with info from mr zippy..
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...s+OR+ls6+valve
also iirc scott and others have ran ls6 springs with this high lift version cam with no problems, i dont think it has a very aggressive lobes fwiw..

Im suprised lot of people run a ls6 springs with aftermarket cam. I wonder it not going hurt anything on 212/218 hi lift. Wonder if ls6 spring able handle rev to 6800 what 212/218 suppose to be right?

If youre planning to turn a 5.3 much over 6200, Id defiantly replace the rod bolts

you can pick at it till you blue in the face but
a stock LS6 cam is 207/218 with .551 lift
comp 212/218 high lift 563
very close in specs if you dont trust it dont run!
Its been done over and over again tried and proven!

Good find, good read, that was a while ago

I like to use the LS6 springs whenever possible...they're easy on the valvetrain and a reliable long term spring, and they're cheap to boot lol.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I'm afraid of the Comp springs, seems like you can grab one and snap it in half lol. My LQ9 will be getting PAC 1218's

I talked to texas-speed John. Give me a quote price. They offer me use PAC springs. They not recom for ls6 springs. But with 212/218 hi lift 100% ok when I tow?
