The Crane adjustable rockers seem like a nice upgrade, but very pricey, and may not be available due to Crane's recent demise...

well i got a killer deal on them so couldnt pass it up.

now to runs the 918 springs or not is my next decision. they say that they can handle .600 lift but i dont know if i should risk them, or just pick up some double springs

Go for the duals IMO...and if you do decide on a Beehive, get PAC springs...I've read too much about the 918's breaking, even the new silver ones

yeah i have some older 918's and am not gonna push my luck with them. i heard the double springs are hard on valve train when compared to single springs

Hey, Matt, I think your calculator might have a stuck key or low batteries. blackbeast ss was correct in both lift and duration. How did you calculate lift? Assuming 35* in your post means 35 degrees, I think your thinking is very abstract.

When you say 35 with an asterisk (*), does the asterisk mean degrees? As blackbeast ss said, the duration does not change with different rocker arm ratios, if I am not mistaken. I am 97% sure that duration is measured at the lifter, not the valve. Maybe what you heard was "the same as 35° more duration" ?

Duration will not change. That is a product of the cam lobe, as already stated. Teh lifter will still start and stop moving at the same point, leaving the duration the same, the 1.8 on the rocker will cause more lift only.
