So whats the point of this thread? Are you going to take the heads off and mill 'em down or go to a 243 head and retest? I'm confused... pure speculation???

Just to see the difference compression makes when running a boost setup with no boost.

Yup, what Scott said.

I'm sure there are a few guys around here that have a similar H/C w/ full bolt-on setup as me that are at 10.5:1 or more. So for comparisons sake we now have a low compression engine results to compare with. Sorry if this was anti-climactic for you!
Will be putting some boost through the motor before I do anything else to it, then when it blows I'll see about changing the compression when it's time for a rebuild.

makes me wonder what my stock head 10.4 CR, boost cam will makes.

What cam do you have now? didnt you get rid of the big *** boost cam?

I did actually, the big boosted 236/232 112 cam is out of the truck. There's a 218/218 114 in it now.

too much powaa.

Shouldnt be a dog outta boost at all. Which will be nice DD it. I dont plan on running much boost full time anyway, Probly something around 7 lbs, low timing.

Wilde racing built a 408 with 11.1:1 compression of something to that effect. Not really sure what it eventually made because he never put it on rollers but he made it live with a good tune and good fuel.
