The 7955's are what Comp recommended for me as well.
Post up how that cam works out. I am looking at that one for my FI application.

Thanks guys for all the input and info. Been busy this 4th of July "weekend" and haven't been able to thank you guys. Here is the update. Everything was measured and sure enough the 7.3 were the right size...wierd. Started the engine up (with Nelson retuned PCM) and everything sounded excellent. Got up to operating temperature, checked everything again and off I went. Initially it seemed I lost a little torque in the lower rpms but I think it was because I babied it. As the day went on my gas mileage got worse. Did a few wot runs and there is definitely more power than before. The only downside is that I didn't get a before and after dyno run cause the shop's computer went down.

There is a slight lope. The exhaust and engine sounds more robust. Seems like more air is exiting the tailpipe. No valvetrain chatter (I'm still amazed at that). No SES lights.

Next plan? I think my wife answered it for me. She went with me to pick up the Yukon and as she was waiting in the car while I took care of the bill she heard a Ford F150 start up. When I came back to the car to get her she said she wants that "whistle" sound for the next mod! Hmmmm...STS?

Anyway, thanks again guys for all your replies.
