power gains?
my cam is getting put in this week and i want to get my truck tuned. any shops near brunswick, ga. also what kinda power and times(1/8 mile) should i expect out of my set-up??
5.3, g-80,373, 3200 fuddle, cai, shorty headers, tr220 220 114, 295/50/16 tires with centerline thruster wheels.

with a good tune and cam, i would say 25 - 30 hp. as for track times, is your truck a rcsb, or ecsb? the rcsb guys with that setup usually see mid 13's with slicks.
*edit* i just read your mod list again. are you saying your truck has everything except for the cam already on it? if not, i would ditch those shorty's for some long tubes.

WELL MY CAM JUST GOT PUT OFF. I HAVE TO WAIT UNTILL THE WARRANTY GUY GET OFF VACTION TO GET IT PUT IN. I WAS HAVING THE WORK DONE UNDER WARRANTY. NOW I THINK IM GOING SALE IT AND BUY A BIGGER CAM WITH SOME HEADS. I BOUGHT THE SHORTYS B/C ON MY 99 4.8 THE LONG TUBES DIDNT FEEL LIKE THEY HELPED. IF ANYONE WANTS THAT STUFF PM ME. TR220 114LSA, PUSH RODS AND DUAL COMP SPRINGS FOR $400 (used)
