Piston delete mod

we’re gonna find out. I have a fresh can of ether ready to go.
I should mention that the engine going in came out of my firebird after I blew out all the ring lands on all my stock pistons on a highway pull. I dingleballed the block, sourced some gto pistons, gapped the rings for boost, grabbed some used heads (Didnt deck them), used some old mls head gaskets, reused the Chinese head studs and slapped it all together. I also welded up a new starter ear, which snapped off the block, unrelated to the demise of that engine, with my spool gun. So your damn right I’ll be reusing the cam from the 6.0, pushrods, springs, and intake if they all appear to be good. What’s the worst that can happen?

I’ll keep updating this thread for sure.
oh yeah and pulled the lifters and I can see that my tsp cam is thrashed, so I ordered a ss2 cam through jegs this morning.

Rods bouncing around tend to thrash cams hard
and that intake will never be clean again, you might get it clean enough to feel ok about it, but there will be **** in the runners for eternity at this point
