Default Patrick G spec'd cam Check it out

I contacted Pat G and told him that I wanted some low end power and a stock sounding idle and how I was going to use the truck.

This what he came back with what do you guys think? He recommended this high lift since I already have 918's installed.

212/218 .580”/.590” 116LSA +4 advance (with 1.7 ratio rockers)

Comp XFI/XFI lobes 54-000-11 3 bolt cam core

3033R/3034R HR116LSA +4 advance (112 installed intake centerline)

Its been a while since he gave me the recommendation just haven't had time to contact Geoff over at EPS.

when I order it a circle D will be on its way too.

Any thoughts?

That cam will probably mimic the stock power curve, just more everywhere. Probably a good choice, but I would go bigger.

hmm that makes me wonder?
you gonna dyno it after the cam swap?
Wonder what the power diff will be between yours and a off the shelf 212/218?
I am just not a fan of big lift and stock heads, maybe this will make me change mind and opinion

You got a lq4 i see in your sig
